DSP Supported Employment Floater

This role involves supporting two very independent gentlemen who receive services through ACT.

Part of the time is spent providing job coaching to one individual at his workplace — offering support, encouragement, and guidance while he works. These hours can also include time at his home (he lives with family) or in the community, helping him work toward other personal goals. The other portion of the job involves assisting a gentleman who lives on his own with independent living skills such as budgeting, grocery shopping, light housecleaning, and occasional community outings.

Each person receives a set number of support hours each week, so the schedule is flexible but must be arranged around their work schedules. Typical shifts may include a mix of daytime and afternoon hours, such as 9 am–3 pm, 8 am–4 pm, 12 pm–6 pm, or 3 pm–8 pm, with occasional weekend activities.

This position does require spending time in a home with a cat, so applicants should ensure they are not allergic.
