Staffed by caring volunteers, the Good Neighbors Shoppe opened its doors in 2002. Each year the shop has grown in size and profits and is now considered a premier, upscale resale shop, highly respected in and around the area. Through hard work and strong friendships, the Good Neighbors Shoppe continues its original mission of helping those in need right here in our community.

Good Neighbor Shoppe has been a proud supporter of ACT for many years. Throughout the years, we have received monetary donations, furniture, clothing items, and the list goes on. Their grant opportunity has allowed us to replace flooring throughout two of our homes and completed a bathroom renovation.

For many years, The Episcopal Church of the Resurrection has organized a paper bag pageant for the individuals we support and donated Christmas gifts to the people we serve. Throughout the year, they support us in various ways.

Central United Methodist Church has supported ACT for many years. They have allowed us to utilize the church for various functions. Also, members of the church offer Rejoicing Spirits monthly for all the individuals we support. Rejoicing Spirits is an innovative ministry that works to enrich the faith lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, their families and friends, and other supportive community members.

Knights of Columbus has supported ACT for many years.  They have graciously helped us to assist individuals in several of our homes.
